If you need to take rubbish to the local Romsey tip on Bunny Lane inn Timsbury, then make sure you go there when it’s open, and don’t get caught out! Below you can find all the opening times for the Romsey tip, aka the Casbrook Household Waste Recycling Centre (HWRC).

Romsey tip opening hours

The Romsey tip and recycling centre is managed by Hampshire County Council and is open to the public to dispose of garden waste, electrical items, and hazardous waste.

If you wish to visit, please pay careful attention to the opening times. The Romsey tip (Casbrook) is open seven days a week, from 9 am to 4 pm in winter months (October to February), and 9 am to 6 pm the rest of the year (April to September). 

Please note that Romsey tip is closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Day. It is also important to note that last entry to the site is at 3:45 pm, so visitors should arrive at the centre with enough time to dispose of their waste before closing time.

Bank Holiday opening times

The Romsey tip opening times may be subject to change on bank holidays so check in advance before you visit, as it could be closed. You might also find that there are large queues, and it’s difficult to access the site. Please do call us if you need an alternative way to get rid of rubbish from your property.
